Pull-ups and Big Kid Undies
The diaper manufacturers have started coming out with products designed to help potty training. The latest addition we've tried are the Pull-Ups Training Pants with a Wetness Liner by Pampers. Your child will feel the wetness when they pee, but you won't have a mess to clean up. One of our moms found this invaluable when vacationing and not knowing where the next restroom would be. These Pull-ups helped keep her new-to-potty-training daughter from regressing to diapers and also allowed them to enjoy their vacation.
Big Kid Undies are one of the most exciting parts of potty training! Have your child help pick out his new underwear - look for the fun character prints. You'll need 20 - 30 pairs so you're always prepared. Many moms have used the characters on undies as incentives for using the potty, explaining along the lines of "Nemo really doesn't like getting wet from pee pee, so we should always remember to use the potty".
